NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), the umbrella organization of automobile dealers in Nepal, is organizing the 15th edition of the country’s only automotive exhibition from September 12-17, 2023 at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Venue, Kathmandu.
The title sponsor of the exhibition is TATA Motors Genuine Oil and is co-sponsored by Shikhar Insurance Company Ltd. Other associates include Yadea (Door prize), Khalti (Ticketing Partner), Worldlink (Internet Partner), Hitco Pvt. Ltd (Fire Safety Support, Frontline Hospital (Medical partner) and the exhibition is managed by Global Exposition & Management Services Pvt. Ltd. (GEMS).
Amidst an economic slowdown, the exhibition has seen an overwhelming participation from different automotive segments portraying the need for apposite commercial activity aiding economic momentum in the country. The organizers admit that the current economic sluggishness has not only adversely affected the business community in the automobile sector but also the financial motivation of automobile buyers.
This edition of the exhibition will showcase 16 brands from the 4-wheeler section, 22 brands from the 2-wheeler section and 7 brands of light commercial vehicles. In addition, the event will witness the exhibition of 30 companies including lubricants, tyres, batteries, garage equipment and other auto components along with financial institutions. Altogether 82 exhibitors comprising importers, dealers, distributors and manufacturers will be accommodated in around 120 small and big stalls.
Like in the previous editions, Road Safety and Traffic Rules are important areas of focus in regard to disseminating mass information. For this purpose, the exhibition will have a Traffic Information Desk at the venue in support of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.
The exhibition will also have Shuttle Bus Service supported by Mahanagar Yatayat from public parking spaces such as Kathmandu Mall, Sainik Kalyankari Bhawan and Bus Park View Tower to Bhrikuli Mandap Exhibition Hall.
Considering visitors' convenience and smooth operation by minimizing rush at the entrance, online ticketing through the Khalti app has been introduced effective from today. The pre-booking of tickets starts from today till September 11 and all tickets purchased online will get 20% cash back from Khalti.
The NADA Auto Show 2023 is expected to draw around 75000 visitors in six days. As an additional attraction of the event, one lucky winner will win the Yadea E8S Pro Electric Scooter as a bumper door prize sponsored by Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd.
